With the Inovia Insight Archiving Solution you can store any kind of data, including binary data. All archived data is easily searchable, accessible and ready to be analyzed using the power of the big data platform. Due to its micro-services architecture, it is easy to use; integrate with your existing applications and infrastructure. Since all data is distributed across the cluster, the system is very resilient and handles issues such as hardware failures without risk of losing any data or being inaccessible for the users.


All archived data is attached with Meta data. The default Meta data can easily be extended and evolved as requirements change over time. The Meta data enables speed and accuracy to find the information in real-time when needed. It is also a good source for analytics to understand what content is stored in the archive.


The built-in life cycle management tool enables the organization to remove or move data based on different criterias, such as time. This ensures legal requirements are maintained whilst cost can be kept to a minimum by not having an ever-growing data storage. Before any content is removed the owner of the content and other responsible users shall be notified by an alert, providing the option to extent the lifecycle of the information.


The Archiving Solution supports both structured and unstructured data. This means that documents, pictures, voice files etc can be stored. In addition, structured data such as databases can be stored in the archiving solution. By keeping all types of data in the same platform, this provides the option to analyze and correlate the data giving you new insight and the ability to make informed decisions.


All access and upload of data is under full governance at all times. The data is also fully secured from unauthorized and direct access.


It is possible to also store the original files together with versions that are easier to search and analyze. An example would be to store original voice files together with a transcript. If newer technology allows better analysis of the voice file new transcripts can be generated replacing the older version. At any time the transcripts can be searched or analyzed in any way using the distributed power of the cluster.


The users typically interact with the archive, using their web browser or a mobile device. If needed, there is also the opportunity to use the command line tools and application integrations. To empower the user experience, powerful tools are available to search and analyze the data. It is also possible for the users to preview and search individual files without having to first download them.


All files that are uploaded to the cluster are automatically compressed internally when possible. When the users interact with the files they are automatically uncompressed. The system also internally packs smaller files into containers to make sure efficient usage of the underlying storage. It is also possible to encrypt or decrypt data and perform other tasks to enhance the user experience.
